Fuquay-Varina is NOT a Raleigh Water customer; it runs its own water system and its own ordinance, so it does not inherit Raleigh's rules. The Town activated Stage 1 Conservation on April 24, 2026, targeting a 10 per cent cut. Even-numbered addresses may water Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; odd-numbered addresses Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Hand watering with a handheld device that is actively held is allowed any time, and drip irrigation is allowed any day off-schedule. No washing down outside areas unless by a licensed business; wash vehicles at home on Saturday or Sunday only; and new or existing pools may not be completely filled.
